Welcome to our little corner of the Internet.
Dick & I started raising Miniature Horses & Emu in 1995. Our Miniature horse
operation was not large and we usually had 6 to 10 foals a year. Both A & B
class horses were sold. Miniature horses are fun to have around, they have the
personality of a big draft horse, they want to please the people who love them,
and they are fun to drive on carts made especially for the miniature horse. They
are also just very relaxing to watch eating grass in the pasture. Miniature
horses fill a need for people who love horses, but just can’t handle a full size
horse anymore, because of physical limitations or land limitations.
Our Emu operation Emu are farmed across the nation for low fat red meat,
deep penetrating and moisturizing emu oil, soft and supple leather, unique
double quilled feathers and their beautiful large green eggs that are sought after
by artists and jewelry makers. We are proud of the fact that we could be part of
a new trend leading to a healthier lifestyle.
